General Considerations
- Benign cartilaginous tumor
- Develops in the medullary cavity
- Usually solitary, although they can occur as multiple lesions in syndromes to be discussed
- Arise from ectopic rests of hyaline cartilage
- Occur mostly in 2nd to 3rd decade
