	l Prospective Gating: 0.4 sec gantry speed. Machine counts 5 cycles, calculates R-R interval, takes 0.25 sec scan, ending prior to beginning of next R wave.  Requires heart rate < 80 bpm.  Table moves during next R-R interval.  Each scan covers 4 images @ 3mm thickness. l Retrospective gating =  gated reconstruction.  Helical acquisition with ECG over raw data.  When ECG is at a given point, take data at that time to make image.
