	n MRI generally preferred n Contraindications to MRI? — CT is an acceptable substitute for disc and bony disease, but poor for infection or intrathecal tumor. n MRI — IV contrast only for: n Suspected infection n Suspected tumor n Post-operative spine n Recurrent disc vs. scar tissue
