Hamartoma of the Breast
- Rare, benign,
well-circumscribed mass
- Mixed density 2° to fat
and water
- Mean age 45
- Mass is usually soft and
often non-palpable
- Mammography
- Surrounded by a thin
capsule under which, there may be
- Peripheral radiolucent
zone of fat
- Mass may contain
calcifications
